New Support Sessions

We have added some additional support sessions to our calendar (see below).


National Board Awareness and Support Sessions:
National Board Support:  E-portfolio Submission - National Board has provided information about the e-portfolio submission process. This webinar will review the process by highlighting the key steps and important information provided in the Guide to Electronic Submission. This webinar will also serve as a forum to ask questions about electronic submission. CERRA will follow-up with National Board following the webinar regarding any unanswered questions.

The 2012-2013 National Board assessment center testing window is now open. We will mail your Authorization to Test letter (ATT) in approximately 7- 10 days; however, you don't need your ATT to schedule your appointment or gain admittance to the assessment center. Schedule your appointment now by following the steps below.
Step 1: Verify your personal information

* The first and last name on your account matches the first and last name on the government issued photo ID you plan to take with you to the assessment center
* Your certificate area and specialty area (if applicable) are correct

If any of this information is incorrect, contact Customer Support at 1-800-22TEACH for instructions on updating your record before scheduling an appointment.

National Board has gone digital!

I know that you received the information below in an email from National Board. 

We’re writing with exciting news! Beginning with the 2012-2013 candidate cycle, the National Board will be implementing an electronic portfolio submission process, known as ePortfolio. ePortfolio simplifies and enhances the way candidates can compile and submit material for scoring.


Benefits include:

  1. Extended deadlines for portfolio submission.

  1. The chart below highlights the new deadlines.
  2. A more efficient and secure delivery system
  3. Elimination of shipping costs
  4. The option to use classroom lessons from later in the school year
  5. Reduced potential for packaging and formatting mistakes
  6. Greater flexibility with regard to the electronic video formats accepted (and no more need to burn DVDs!)
  7. Specialized technical support available to assist with the upload process

Dear Candidate, 

Following our announcement on February 1, 2013, regarding the implementation of an electronic portfolio submission process, we're writing to let you know the Guide to Electronic Submission, the Electronic Submission at a Glance, and the instructional video tutorial is now available on our website. Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with these resources and the new submission process.        

As a reminder, all candidates with a 2013 portfolio due date will submit material using the new ePortfolio system. To accommodate the change, the portfolio submission deadlines have been adjusted as follows:
